Deodorant is on sale for just $2.99, you might want to buy in bulk. Decent personal hygiene can save you from embarrassment and everyone else from the unpleasant smell. One visit to the boys’ locker room will leave you with stinging eyes and an irritated nose; the girls’ locker room proves to be no different. Not only there, but floating in the classroom and hallways of your own school is a disgusting cloud of body odor and bad breath. Only the smelly students that lurk amongst the place are to blame.
The worst situations often happen between you and another individual who smells like a sack of rotting onions. You dread the thought of them even touching you because you’re afraid their stench will stick onto you for eternity. Although this person may seem nice, their uninviting odor could be the thing keeping you two away from each other. I guess you could say my bottom line here is that you are risking your friendships, old and new, every time you come to school with a stinky odor.
If high school taught me anything about social life, the first lesson was about not smelling like a mongoose living in a KCF dumpster. Step one is taking the time to scrub and wash every night in the shower. Rinsing your hair and body isn’t enough-- grab that loufa and cleanse yourself from the dirt and sweat you’ve encountered from the day! Shampoo and conditioner is a must, and an aromatic bar of soap is a no-brainer.
Now this one is important, so please take note. Please refrain from leaving home without the proper coverage of deodorant. This tip will keep your refreshed body smelling good throughout the day. Keep in mind that covering yourself with a thick shower of Axe won’t help you, and neither will a few squirts of your Victoria’s Secret perfume. Don’t try to argue with me on this because I can still smell your stink underneath the numerous layers of spray you hide under. Be nice to yourself and others by generously applying deodorant, following directions as needed.
The old saying goes, “your body is a temple.” Treating your temple the right way, like regularly cleaning it out, will definitely please the guests that come inside. Making yourself welcoming in other people’s eyes (and noses) starts with having a nice scent. You don’t have to smell like a bed of flowers, but you don’t have to smell like a landfill either.
