This kid is covered from his 14-year-old body from shoulder to wrist in artwork. Many people are quick to assume that Little Johnny has parents who are unaware of this decision, rather than the full consent that was given.
Hypothetically, half of the people in America disagree with underage tattooing because of two reasons. One, they will probably regret that totally cliché quote across their side. And two, they aren’t thinking about their future; in regards to those workplaces who don’t approve of wrist tattoos, no matter how “cute” or “meaningful” they are.
However, the other half of America is all for Little Stacy’s totally adorable and meaningful tattoo of Simba on her wrist, along with her super inspirational yet totally not original “Stay strong” tattoo along her forearm.
If Little Stacy wants to forever have a cat on her wrist then go ahead. The entire American community having “oh so important” arguments about such “intense” topics is something I don’t see deserves the time of day. Body art on someone who is deemed “too young” by society shouldn’t be ranked so high up in controversial topics; there are much more important things to discuss.
Whether you agree with a kid getting tattooed at the age of twelve or not, it happens. That’s what’s so great about being a kid. You are so free of worry and responsibility, that you truly realize what it means to be free. Half of the kids out there who are getting tattooed are probably going to be the same adults who pay for tattoo removal surgery or even add to their gallery, but that’s up to them whether they want that or not.
The greatest thing about tattoos is that at the age you get it, it’s apart of your story. Tattoos are meant to be just that; a little artistic part of who you are or who you were in the different stages of your life. Whether you get it removed or not, it’s always going to be a funny story to tell.
